Q. How can a person get himself out of bad habits? 
Whenever a bad habit arises in your mind, immediately become aware as if you wake up from a dream from your sleep. At that moment, they remain for a while. But due to your awakening, those dreams start dissolving very fast. Just look at the bad habits arising in your mind with this awakening, this awareness. Watch that habit overpower you. Just look at that habit. Do not have to hold nor consider that it is wrong, it is right. With just witness, closed eyes, see those habits in front of your mind's eyes as if you are watching a picture. In a few days you will catch the awareness. You will know what is alertness? What is being alert? 
Now whenever a bad habit arises in your mind, become alert for a few moments and watch this habit dissolve in front of the awareness like a dream. Any of your bad habits will easily disappear.

IS THERE A GOD?

 Is there a God? There is God, and there is not.  God appears like you, and does not appear like your soul.  God and his creation are one. Like Jesus, Mohammad and Krishna, you and your God are one.  You are visible from the invisible. You only know the visual part. The invisible part remains invisible.
